070 Shake & YesJulz Shut Down XOYO

070 Shake hit us with a Europe Tour and was accompanied by YesJulz, she shut down XOYO in London, Shoreditch (where it all goes down to be honest.) First time in London, 070 Shake managed to pull of a tour based off released songs and no EP or Album, and we must say we are very glad to have witnessed such a show.

YesJulz was first up and put in place a introduction for 070 Shake while running a series of tracks .Shake then took the stage to perform tracks such as Stranger, Trust Nobody, Honey, Keep it there, make it there and others that made the crowd really resonate with her energy and vibe while performing.

Photo 14-11-2014, 12 29 36.jpg

As the night came to an end, Shake performed the last song of her set. The crowd enjoyed her show so much they enforced a encore to happen.......it DID. While the crowd chanting she came back and performed one last track solo which was mean to be with her 070 crew. She KILLED the last song and even YesJulz jumped in the crowd to fully feel the energy too. Check out the snaps we got from the show below and be sure to follow 070 Shake & YesJulz

Keep edeting guys.

Until next time.

Rookies Unviels a Strong ' 3M Reflective Pack'

South London based Street wear brand Rookies have just recently hit the streets and has unveiled an intense batch of color blocking L/S Tee's, with both logos vinyl printed in two areas, onto the left chest, and the down right arm, attained with a 3M Reflective Scotchlite finish. It comes in a Coastal Blue, Satsuma Orange & Black.

We managed to secure an opportunity to shoot all 3 colors and develop a lookbook for your perusal. We must admit....we are vibing with this recent drop. The fit is not too snug but still cuffs perfectly, a crewneck fit round the collar and gives enough space to even slip another Longline/Oversized T-shirt underneath (If that is your vibe.)  We also came to the conclusion that it could be cross-dressed due to how it fits you may want to wear it as a dress, that is for you ladies out there (Just a serving suggestion.) We found the quality of this 3M Reflective pack looked after well, the quality of the print and the material compliment each other well being very durable.

Be sure to check out and watch out the Rookiesldn team via their Instagram @rookiesldn

The following collection is available now at Rookies website. Prices are as follows

'Black' L/S 3M Reflective Tee - £35

'Satsuma Orange' L/S 3M Reflective Tee - £35

'Coastal Blue' L/S 3M Reflective Tee - £35

Take a look at the full lookbook below which was shot and edited by our team.

Staay Edeting, and we will catch you soon.

Enjoy.

Wireless Festival

As festival season came around a lot faster than we expected, it came to our attention that we not only need to be apart of the music festivity, but also needed to document it. Wireless Festival was a opportunity for us to do so, it is also one of UK’s biggest festival that happens every summer. An event that brings attendees from all across the UK and the die hard fans from abroad. (There is just something special & a different feel from seeing your favorite artist in another city than your own.)

Wireless has had big names under its belt such as Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Nas, Drake, The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, J.Cole, Avicii...Do we need to name more? The festival even opens up a lot more for upcoming artists to Establish even more of a name for themselves especially from the UK with artists such as Cadet, Age of L.U.N.A, Big Tobz, Yungen. The festical really gives a feel that it appreciate all types of music no matter how big the artist is.

With 3 major names Headlining the 3 day weekend we found our experience one to remember, the Headline acts are as follows:
Friday - Chance the Rapper
Saturday - Skepta
Sunday - The Weeknd.

A wide range of people attende and were in were ready to see their favourite acts to perform, from cool, to hipster, do fancy dress (Believe me we saw a guy dressed up as a donut. We don’t know where he got the suit from it was very entertaining)
It was just wonderfully prepared and to visually see so many people there all just for one purpose - Music.

You could never be too short of food or drinks while being there, many bars at your perusal with diverse range of food stalls from Chinese, Indian, jerk chicken, traditional fish chips, curly fries, I mean, them curly fries and burger. Sensational.

From all 3 days we felt a different atmosphere, Travis Scott, Rae Sremmund, Tory Lanez provided the mosh pit with drinks being flung all over the place as excitement rose for the hype of those acts, while The Weeknd & Chance the Rapper gave off really mellow energy, that were enough to make people who don’t follow them follow them.

As the weekend drew To a close we came to a conclusion that it was a festival not to be missed, the energy & music, the presence & presentation of it all was one you can’t complain, about, we we’re glad to have been apart of of it all, we are recommending that anyone who is reading this has to go next year.

We thank you Wireless Festival.

Rookies Launch Party

Since our last interview with the Rookies boys Az and Paris, they have been working hard and been putting alot of time into their next first wave of garments, we have been keeping up and following the Rookies movement. Az and Paris recently threw invite only a launch party to commend the brand. We got invited down to celebrate the Launch of Rookies Ldn.

The Launch party was in nice cozy private room with its own bar, so you had the benefit of getting your favourite drinks without having to leave the room. The venue was touched up well with helium Balloons with the crested with the logo & a mini Stall to get a first insider of what the boys have to offer, even got the chance to purchase a Tee, if you was there and you did not purchase a tee...Rookie Mistake (Like what we did there?) it also had visuals of the Rookies Lookbook plastered above the stall to give a insight to how they look on.

Pictured above was a whiteboard included with a dry wipe pen where you could leave a personal message to Rookies Team to show your love and support on the brand. They saved it as a Memorabilia to remember the day by (Don't you worry, we left our own little message.) The music complied by the man behind the decks was unmatched,  secured and sealed they bagged themselves a well known DJ around South London who goes by the name of DJ Skaps, kitted out in Rookies, Skaps' tracklist & mixes were one you could definitely tell your kids about. Skaps played a variety of old and new tracks that kept the attendees entertained throughout.

Before closing up shop, Az and Paris put the party to a halt to give thanks to everyone for turning up and making time to come down to the event, it was a moment full of appreciation and just full on love towards everything and every one,,mentioning what they have gone through and how far they have come. Overall Rookies Launch party was one to remember. Please be sure follow the boys and the brand its self on social media.

Blossom: Lotus

Blossom: Lotus was an exhibition held in Dalston by Camilla Daniels, a London based Illustrator who uses a mix of paintings. We got invited down to the opening night by Camilla herself to check it all out, and we must say it was one we definitely enjoyed. The event was presented  exceptionally well and catered to all guests, it was also a good way to get personal and meet and greet Camilla herself, we found the exhibition had some very bold work also with messages included in some pieces.

Blossom Into Your Best Self by Camilla Daniels

The 4 day event We joined mid-sessions as she was body painting. body painting is something she enjoys doing and we thought it was a great touch to the event that we can see how she works in her element. It gave us more depth into how she goes about creating her work. Camilla had excellent composure on while painting so elegently on a human body, (Why does it sound like we are referring to her playing some form of sports? Hey its the truth though)

Camilla, also had a little pop up shop in an adjacent room where she was selling merchandise and giving out a few goodies bags, don't worry we got a few for ourselves also quite the good bag we must say. Overall the exhibition was an experience and we got to see a wide variety of her work and about the London based illustrator. Her work definitely represent what she stands for as a artist. If you missed the event take a look a short clip of it all.

MFT Media has their First network Event

Media is a production company based in London established in 2013, run by three bold females. They go by the names of Shamim (24), Amber (25) and Sonia (24). They met at DeMontfort University, Leicester where they became the best of friends and built a relentless bond together. Shamim, Amber & Sonia strongly believe that God has a purpose for their lives. As time goes by, they understand that they are indeed "Made for This" (hence how the title for the company originated). Their skills, passion and creative skills as a collective formulated MFT Media.

Oh, and might we add they all love Beyoncé.

We got invited to down to the event to see what it was all about. MFT Media, took to the event to showcase a few creatives recent works from upcoming directors, videographers, Photography and even had a private DJ on the go to entertain their attendees. (Excellent work MFT.) The Creatives were asked to speak about the morale behind why they started up that project. Also a nice little touch MFT included was asking all creatives who spoke about their projects "Why they were Made For This?" It made sense as you could get an insight to how they started or even where they even want to be in a few years time. Such a creative little trio MFT media are aren't they?

It was great way to interact with other creatives and could potentially expand your business or idea further than you think, and a chance to ask questions you don't get the opportunity to ask. MFT Media will be having another event in the near future so make sure to follow their social media accounts to find out more information about it all, in addition to find out more about them. I mean we love what they do already, jump on the wagon and love them too.

Check out a few shots of the event below

Just to let you guys know....Something is in the works...Dont wanna cut the cake just yet do we? But in the meantime go ahead and see what MFT Media has to offer!
Until next Time Folks.
